Why You Need a Travel Advisor to Plan Disney

Planning a Disney vacation sounds simple — until it isn't.

You open the Disney website, ready to book a magical trip, and suddenly you're facing a maze of resort options, park tickets, dining reservations, Lightning Lane passes, package deals, and a calendar that books up months in advance. Sound familiar?

That's exactly where a travel advisor changes everything.

Disney Is More Complex Than You Think

Disney World alone has 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, over 30 resort hotels, and hundreds of dining options — and the rules, pricing, and availability change constantly. Knowing what to book, when to book it, and in what order is practically a part-time job.

A Disney-savvy travel advisor like myself, has done this dozens (sometimes hundreds) of times. I know the insider details that make the difference between a stressful trip and a magical one.

What a Travel Advisor Actually Does for Your Disney Trip

Saves you hours of research. No more spending weekends down Reddit rabbit holes, or polling Facebook on “all the Disney tips” not knowing if they actually work or if the poster just got lucky. I handle the research, comparisons, and logistics, so you can actually look forward to the trip.

Gets you the best value. Disney runs promotions throughout the year — free dining offers, discount room packages, and seasonal deals. I get a heads up before these drop and can apply them to your booking, sometimes retroactively.

Books your dining reservations. Well, this one I usually guide my clients through, but I do book dining reservations if it’s asked. Typically, I leave this part to my clients, not because I don’t want to book dining reservations, but because this is a more intimate part of the trip, and guests know their desires more than I do. Do you want to sleep in and have a late breakfast, or skip breakfast and have an early lunch? These are all considerations when booking dining reservations. However, I do advise on the most popular Disney restaurants (Cinderella's Royal Table, Be Our Guest, Space 220) and remind you that reservations open 60 days in advance and book up within minutes.

Picks the right resort for your family. Staying on Disney property comes with real perks: early park entry, free transportation, and the immersive atmosphere. But not every resort is right for every family. Your advisor matches you to the property that fits your budget, travel style, and priorities. I also know which resorts are under refurbishment and which ones do not have elevators. If you are looking for a Disney partner hotel (Disney Good Neighbor), then I can advise on the ones that have the best amenities.

Plans your park days strategically. Knowing which parks to visit on which days, how to avoid the biggest crowds, and how to structure your schedule makes an enormous difference in how much you actually see and enjoy. For example, visiting a park when it’s closing early for a special ticketed event is a wait time hack!

Supports you before and during the trip. Questions come up. Plans change. When something goes sideways, you have a real person in your corner — not a chatbot.

What Does It Cost to Use a Travel Advisor?

Here's a point that often surprises people: working with me is complimentary, as long as I book your trip; I do not charge a fee. You get expert guidance, personalized service, and someone advocating for you, at no additional cost.
